Prepend an element to an Array.

Signature

prepend(element: A) => Array<A>

Description

Prepends an element to an Array instance.

The calling Array isn’t changed.

Parameters

Element to prepend to the Array.

Return value

Type Description

Array<Generic>

Array with the prepended element.

Examples

[2, 3].prepend(1)
[
  1,
  2,
  3
]
