Test if a function exists.

Signature

exists() => Boolean

Description

The exists() method tests if the function instance exists.

Staged schema

If a database has staged schema, this method interacts with the database’s staged schema, not the active schema.

Parameters

None

Return value

Type Description

Boolean

true = function exists
false = function doesn’t exist.

Examples

Function.byName("checkout").exists()
true
