rejoin

Notifies the cluster that the local node should rejoin the cluster with a new IP address, via an active node specified in HOST.

faunadb-admin rejoin HOST

Description

The rejoin command notifies the cluster that the local node has moved to a new IP address and is rejoining from there, which is coordinated by connecting to the specified host.

Arguments

Argument Description

HOST

The IP address, or hostname, of the active host connect to.

Example

faunadb-admin rejoin 10.0.0.48
Loaded configuration from /etc/faunadb.yml...
Node has rejoined the cluster.

If a node cannot rejoin a cluster, the output message could be one of:

  • Node has NOT rejoined the cluster. It is already a member of a cluster.

  • Unrecognized response from server.
