Description

The LowerCase function returns a string in which all uppercase characters have been replaced by their corresponding lowercase characters.

Parameters

Parameter Type Definition and Requirements

value

String

The String to convert to lowercase.

Returns

A String containing all of the characters from value converted to lowercase.

Examples

The following query executes an array of independent LowerCase operations and returns the results in an array. The result array position matches the execution array position. The individual operations are:

  1. The string "FiRe" is converted to all lowercase characters, which causes "fire" to be the first string in the result.

  2. The string "FiRe And FireMan" is converted to all lowercase characters which causes "fire and fireman" to be the second string in the result.
