Fauna accounts created after August 21, 2024 must use FQL v10. These accounts will not be able to run FQL v4 queries or access the v4 Dashboard.

Description

The Cos function is a trigonometric function which calculates ratios of the lengths of the sides of right triangles. Cos returns the cosine of a number.

Number

The Number whose cosine should be returned.

Returns

A Number which is the cosine of value.

The following query returns the cosine of 0.5:
