FQL v4 will be decommissioned on June 30, 2025. Ensure that you complete your migration from FQL v4 to FQL v10 by that date.

Fauna accounts created after August 21, 2024 must use FQL v10. These accounts will not be able to run FQL v4 queries or access the v4 Dashboard.

Preview and deprecated functions

As you browse this section, keep in mind the following:

Preview functions that those that have been recently added to FQL. They are only supported in the Java, JavaScript, and Scala drivers. Preview functions might change after their initial release. Feedback from the community could suggest change to parameters, return values, or implementation. Please try these functions and let us know how they work for you!

Deprecated functions are existing functions that are deemed no longer particularly useful, or cause a variety of difficulties that newer query patterns, or functions, can resolve. These functions will be removed from future Fauna releases.
