HTTP API

The HTTP API documentation describes the protocol between Fauna and a client for sending and receiving encoded FQL queries using HTTP. This is the same API used by the Fauna Dashboard and Drivers.

User guide

The user guide includes reference and how-to information for formatting and sending queries, getting and decoding responses, and responding to error conditions.

Reference

The reference documentation lists endpoints and methods supported by the API. It includes:

  • Endpoints

  • Supported methods, covering the following for each method:

    • Request and response message syntax and associated events and data structures.

    • HTTP error codes
